With over 10 years of yoga practice, I am a certified RYT 200-hour adult yoga instructor and certified children's yoga teacher. I weave the joy of yoga into my classes through mindful movement and breathwork, fostering a peaceful space where students can connect with themselves and each other.
As a licensed Special Education teacher with a Master's degree in Teaching, I bring an inclusive approach to my yoga classes, ensuring that individuals of all abilities feel valued and supported. I spent 4 years teaching children with autism in a special education classroom, which deepened my understanding of the unique needs of each student. This experience allows me to adapt my classes to provide the most empowering experience for everyone. I teach not only yoga poses but also valuable coping skills, emotional regulation, and mindfulness techniques to help students manage stress, build resilience, and enhance their emotional well-being. I have taught students in various settings, from schools, studios and community centers, tailoring my teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles and fostering a safe, welcoming environment.
Through yoga, I strive to foster wellness, empowerment, and a sense of belonging for all.
